Systems & Neural Architecture

Pluton & The Native LLM Initiative.

An independent language engineering project by Artur, uniting real-time systems programming with an autonomous foundation model training stack.

TECHNICAL MANIFESTO

Why Pluton Exists

Modern software stacks have grown heavily layered: high-level interpreted wrappers (Python) calling intermediate C++ bindings, which in turn dispatch to driver-level GPU APIs. While excellent for quick scripting, this abstraction introduces severe runtime nondeterminism:

  • Garbage Collection & Jitter: Dynamic memory reclamation halts CPU execution threads, introducing latency spikes into real-time 60 FPS graphics loops and cross-node gradient synchronization.
  • Global Interpreter Lock Bottlenecks: Python's GIL prevents seamless multi-threaded scheduling of custom byte-streams and tensor manipulations without dropping into external C extensions.

Pluton was architected to eliminate this abstraction debt. With native vector primitives, direct hardware accelerator discovery (hardware.gpu), built-in 2D/3D presentation pipelines, and an asynchronous TCP networking stack, Pluton executes full applications from a singular, clean binary runtime.

NEURAL ARCHITECTURE · GOOGLE CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE Active Stack

Project Pluton-LLM: Native Foundation Model & Google Cloud Scale

We are actively developing Pluton-LLM, an autoregressive Transformer foundation model whose tensor layout, forward attention pass, and backward gradient computation are executed purely in Pluton.

Google Cloud & AI Compute Architecture:

Training a frontier neural network architecture on a custom language stack requires extreme compute scale and deep multimodal reasoning. Our production pipeline leverages Google Cloud (Cloud GPUs, TPUs) and Frontier Google AI across three mission-critical vectors:

  • 1. Cloud GPU & TPU Acceleration: Distributed training clusters and high-memory instances in Google Cloud Platform allow us to scale native Pluton tensor autodiff kernels from single-card validation to multi-node training.
  • 2. High-Fidelity Synthetic Reasoning Corpora via Frontier Google AI: Training an LLM capable of self-hosting and generating verifiable Pluton code requires massive, curated synthetic corpora spanning systems programming, binary packet serialization, and 3D mathematics generated through Frontier Google AI's massive context window.
  • 3. Autonomous Training Loop Supervisor & Telemetry: During multi-epoch training runs, Vertex AI endpoints and Frontier Google AI models act as an intelligent supervisor via streaming API hooks—analyzing intermediate cross-entropy loss trajectories, predicting divergence events, and automatically tuning learning rate decay schedules.
